Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre is proud to partner with All for One, offering remedial massage conveniently located on Level 1 of the centre alongside All for One’s physiotherapy clinic.

Whether you’re carrying tension from long days at a desk, feeling the effects of a hard training session, carrying a baby and feeling it in your back and hips, managing ongoing muscle pain, or simply need an hour to switch off, you’ll be treated by a diploma-qualified remedial massage therapist, with your health fund rebate processed on the spot.

Massage services

All for One provides a range of evidence-based physiotherapy and allied health services, including:

  • Remedial massage
  • Relaxation massage
  • Pregnancy massage*
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Myofascial release
  • Muscle energy technique
  • Clinical stretching

Why choose remedial massage?

Remedial massage can help you:

  • Ease muscle tension and tightness
  • Relieve neck, shoulder and back pain
  • Recover from training and physical activity
  • Ease the aches of pregnancy*
  • Improve mobility and flexibility
  • Reduce tension headaches
  • Manage stress and switch off
  • Support ongoing pain management

*Pregnancy massage is tailored to your stage of pregnancy. You’ll be positioned comfortably and safely, supported on your side, while your therapist eases the lower back, hip, leg and shoulder aches that come with carrying a baby. Let us know you’re pregnant when you book. It sits well alongside All for One’s prenatal Pilates and women’s health physiotherapy, also on Level 1.

Referrals and health fund rebates

No referral is required to book an appointment.

Because every therapist is diploma-qualified and registered with the health funds, remedial massage is claimable with most major health funds. HICAPS facilities are available for on-the-spot claiming, so you only pay the gap on the day.

  • Qualified massage therapists

    You’re in safe hands

    It matters who is treating you. Every All for One massage therapist:

    • holds at least a Diploma of Remedial Massage, the qualification recognised by the major health funds;
    • is registered with the health funds, so your rebate is processed on the spot;
    • is a member of a professional association, insured, and first aid and CPR certified;
    • works in the same clinic as All for One’s physiotherapists, so if something needs more than massage, you’ll be referred to the right person.

    Every appointment starts with a conversation about your health history, any pain or injuries, and what you’d like from your session. Your therapist will tailor the treatment to your body and check in on pressure as they work, whether you need focused work on a problem area or a full-body reset.

  • Meet your massage therapists

    Elaine Chu holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Max Therapy Institute and has more than three years of experience treating a wide range of muscle and joint pain. Her treatments draw on deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and clinical stretching. Elaine speaks English, Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien, and is available Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

    Kumi Kitamura holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Max Therapy Institute and is currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. She previously studied physical therapy in Japan, and brings a strong grounding in anatomy and movement to her treatments. Kumi is available on Saturdays.

    Both also work at All for One’s Yarraville studio, as part of a massage team that includes some of its most experienced therapists.
