3X3 Basketball
Major League Sports runs fast-paced and fun 3×3 Basketball Pick-Up Games. Open to all skill levels and genders, it’s a perfect way to get on the court, meet new players and enjoy regular games without the pressure of a full league season.
Session times:
- Thursdays: 7:00pm-10:00pm
- Sundays: 4:00pm- 7:00pm
Price:
- $15 per player, per session

Men’s and mixed basketball competitions
Social Sport runs Sunday social basketball for all skill levels.
Round up your mates and join their men's or mixed Basketball competition, or sign up solo through TeamUp and Social Sport will find you a team so you can hit the court in no time!
Social Sport’s leagues are all about fun, teamwork and good vibes, with a focus on sportsmanship and making every game an enjoyable experience.

Adult and junior basketball competitions
Basketball613 runs inclusive and community-focused basketball programs at Kensington, designed for players of all levels.
They offer structured competitions, weekly runs, and skill-development opportunities for both adults and juniors.
Their goal is to make basketball accessible, social and fun, while still providing a pathway for those who want to push their game further.

Futsal competitions
Futsal 4 Life runs exciting women’s futsal leagues for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned player, the leagues provide an opportunity to build skills, make friends and enjoy the game in a welcoming environment.
Session days and times
- Mondays (except on public holidays and 2-3 weeks at the end of the year)
Game times
- Varies each week for teams, between 6:00pm and 9:20pm
Format
- 18 round seasons with 2 weeks of finals
Ages
- It is an adult league, however underage players can participate with parental consent. It is advised these players have football/futsal experience to better negotiate the increased physicality of older players.

Multisport and netball competitions
Urban Rec run social, inclusive and fun multisport and netball leagues at Kensington. The leagues focus less on winning and more on having a laugh, meeting new mates and enjoying the game.
You can register as a full team with your mates or sign up solo and we’ll place you in a team with like-minded people.
Urban Rec handle all the gear, fixtures and organisation so you can focus on playing, socialising and having fun! No trials, no experience needed – just show up ready to play and have a good time.

Volleyball competitions
Melbourne Social League run a mixed social volleyball competition at Kensington.
Open to both men and women of all skill levels, it’s the perfect way to enjoy volleyball in a fun, welcoming and beginner-friendly environment. Come along to stay active, make new friends and be part of a supportive social community. No prior experience required!
Session day and times
- Every Wednesday, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Prices
- Individual match fee: $15.00
- Team match fee: $90.00
What to expect
- Matches run for 45 minutes
- Each match is played as a best of three sets
