About Kensington Banks tennis courts 

The Kensington Banks tennis courts have three synthetic courts with lights.

Tennis is a sport everyone can enjoy, and it's easy to play at Kensington Community Recreation Centre. We encourage you to book a court, grab a racquet and have a hit with your family and friends.

Please note: Tennis balls and racquets are not supplied.


The courts are available to hire from 6am - 10pm seven days a week.


Court hire starts at $9 for 30 minutes.

    Terms and Conditions for Tennis
    • Booking player must register any other players for contact tracing purposes using the form below
    • Singles tennis only (2 players per court)
    • Everyone in the facility must practice physical distancing at all times by being 1.5m apart from one another.
    • To use the facility, members of the public may not travel more than 25km from their usual place of residence (or their place of work if they have a permit to work in a permitted workplace)
    • Sanitise hands and pin pad/gate before and after use
    • Do not share equipment
    • Players agree they are not displaying any symptoms of COVID19; loss or change in sense of smell or taste, fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose
    • Players agree they have not been directed to self-isolate by DHHS or a Medical practitioner
    • Players agree to comply with all Victorian Government directions and site Terms and Conditions
    • No spectators allowed on courts
    • Wait outside of courts until your booking begins
    • No off court social gatherings and leave promptly at end of booking
    • Face mask to be worn to and from courts (not required during play)
    • Please avoid swapping ends
